Responsible Gambling

Last updated: May 31, 2026

Ball Street wants the show to go on for a long time, which means we want our community to be in this for the long run too. This page lays out the rules of the road: who Ball Street is for, what we are and aren't, how to bet with discipline, and where to get help if betting stops being fun.

1. 21+ Only

The Ball Street Service is intended only for adults aged 21 or older who reside in jurisdictions where sports wagering is legal. You must confirm your age on first visit. If you are under 21 or live in a jurisdiction where sports wagering is not legal, please leave the site and do not subscribe.

We do not knowingly market to, accept subscriptions from, or provide picks to anyone under 21. If we become aware that an account is held by a minor, we will close it and refund the current billing period.

2. Ball Street Is Not a Sportsbook

Ball Street is an information service. We publish data-driven picks and analysis. We do not accept wagers, do not hold or transmit funds for the purpose of wagering, and are not licensed as a sportsbook in any jurisdiction. All wagers are placed by you, at sportsbooks of your choosing, under their terms and applicable state law.

Past performance does not guarantee future results. No pick is guaranteed to win. Any historical or backtested results we publish are illustrative, not promises of profit. Sports wagering involves real and substantial risk of financial loss.

3. Bet With Discipline

The single most important habit for a long-term bettor is unit sizing. Our published strategy guide recommends sizing each wager at 1% to 3% of your total bankroll. That range exists for a reason: every system, including ours, has losing streaks of 30 to 80 units, and unit sizes outside this range either give up too much edge (too small) or risk ruin during normal drawdowns (too large).

A few rules that keep our community in the game:

  • Only wager money you can afford to lose entirely without affecting your housing, food, debt obligations, or family.
  • Set a session, daily, weekly, and monthly loss limit before you start. When you hit it, stop — even if a great pick is firing.
  • Never chase losses by increasing unit size or betting picks you haven't been sent.
  • Never borrow money to wager.
  • Never wager under the influence of alcohol or other substances that impair judgment.
  • Track every bet so you can review your behavior honestly.

4. Warning Signs

Problem gambling is a recognized clinical condition and can affect anyone. Some signs that the activity may have become unhealthy:

  • Spending more time or money than you intended.
  • Hiding bets or losses from people close to you.
  • Borrowing money or selling possessions to wager.
  • Feeling anxious, irritable, or depressed when not betting, or when trying to cut back.
  • Chasing losses with larger or more frequent wagers.
  • Missing work, family, or social obligations because of betting.

If any of these describe you or someone you care about, please reach out to one of the resources below. There is no judgment in asking for help.

7. Stepping Away From Ball Street

If you would also like us to suppress your email from all future newsletters and marketing, send a request to legal@ballstreet.money and we will add you to our permanent suppression list.
